Happy (almost) July 4th!

Hope you’re enjoying the summer so far! We just wrapped up my middle son’s wedding. It was so beautiful and I’m so happy for him and my new daughter-in-law. Now I can relax…after all that’s what summer is for, right? Relaxing in the warm summer sun, I say, bring it on! Happy (almost) July 4th! This month is all about picnics and celebrating independence. Happy Holidays

This time of the year we’re reminded of the value of friends and family. My Bunco group has both…my mom, my sister and my aunt are all in my Bunco group and the remainder I’m proud to call friends (some feel like family ;). Time for Sweatshirts and Bonfires!

I make my s’mores with a Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup instead of a piece of chocolate…if you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out! Are you hosting Bunco this month? If so, there are lots of great themes you can use…Autumn Leaves, School Days (or School Rocks), or Touchdown are seasonal…or you could go another way….Pajama Party, Retro Housewives, Wine a Bit, Java Joy, or Hot & Flashy. There are so many possibilities! If you choose to go with a seasonal…

So, needless to say, I’m ready for some downtime! I know some people take the summer off from playing bunco but in my group we don’t. We love our girl time and always try to make it work…there have been occasions where we’ve had 6 subs…that gets crazy! But inviting subs can also be a great way to get to know new people. If you’re hosting Bunco…
